We’re still working on this site, so please bear with us while we get it just right. As well as all the usual stuff, there’s a blog section under News, Articles and Liverpool Culture, which will feature all sorts of interesting things to do, cultural news, articles, reviews and comment as well as the latest on all things Lodestar. The latest post is on  Clunk by The Suitcase Ensemble. Look for the Subscribe By E-mail option below to get the posts direct to your inbox or subscribe to the RSS feed via the icon under the video box.

Last season was artistically brilliant (two fantastic shows and one Best Fringe Production award) though as always we’ve been working hard to overcome the financial hurdles.  The only way to beat a slump is to move forward and this year we aim to produce more work than ever:

We have begun a new season of workshops and courses for everyone at the fantastic Contemporary Urban Centre. Follow the link for all the information

In addition to our B-movie inspired spook-tacular (… see what I did there?) The House That Dripped Horror, we’ve got John Cameron Mitchell’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Kazimier from 26th May.  Fabulous, funny and tragical by turns it is a musical like no other you’ll have seen before.  Votes are in from our ‘What would you like to see next’ poll and the front runner for this year’s Shakepeare is Romeo and Juliet – we’ve got some fantastic ideas for a production that will take it’s inspiration from the streets of 19th Century Liverpool.
